The roadshows of FDC were mainly conducted in Metro Manila and attended by an average of 60 participants from different State Universities (SUCs), Government Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCC) and Local Government Units such as City, Municipal and Provincial Governments. The product presentation activities conducted were as follows:

November 6 - Luxent Hotel (51 Timog Avenue, South Triangle, Quezon City)

November 10 - Discovery Suites Ortigas (25 ADB Ave. Ortigas Center, Pasig City)

November 12 - New World Manila Bay Hotel (1588 Pedro Gil cor. M.H. Del Pilar Manila)

 

Mr. Dave Valderrama of Depot Coordination Office (DCO) discussed the procedure on how to order Microsoft Licenses through the PS-PhilGEPS. November 10, Discovery Suites Ortigas.

 

Participants from different government agencies in Manila attended the Microsoft Technology Immersion of FDC in New World Manila Bay Hotel.

 

On the other hand, WSI’s roadshows were conducted in different regional areas, viz:

November 6 - L’Fisher Hotel, 14th Lacson St. Bacolod City Negros Occidental

November 12 - The Grand Menseng, A. Pichon St. Poblacion District Davao City

November 13 - Mallberry Suites Business Hotel, Osmena St. Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental

E-Copy Corporation and Sharp Philippines also partnered with the PS-PhilGEPS to conduct a product presentation on November 24 at Cromagen Bldg. 8007 Pioneer St. Brgy. Kapitolyo Pasig City. The activity involved discussions on Software Solution Systems processes and transactions for public sectors such as Document Management and Workflow Automation Solutions including Contact Management, Expense Claims Processing, eHuman Resource Management and Custom Applications.

 

 

Mr. Omar Bernal of the Marketing Division discussed the PS-PhilGEPS Updates during the product presentation of E-Copy Corporation and Sharp Philippines.

 

On December 7, Microsoft, together with WSI and Bizbox, had a product presentation activity at Makati Shangri-la Hotel, Ayala Avenue, Makati City that involved discussion on Software Solution System for public hospitals that will increase efficiencies of the ease documentations in hospitals, enhance patient and doctor experience and improve healthcare outcomes. Speakers from the US, Singapore & Makati Microsoft Offices presented before the 78 attendees comprised of agencies from government hospitals, medical institutions and medical centers. The presentation also discussed the availability of Microsoft Government Volume Licensing through Procurement Service.

 

Mr. Bobby Lau of Bizbox discussed the Software Solution System for public hospitals in Makati Shangri-la Hotel.

 

 

Ms. Flery Arias, Operations Manager, informed the participants who attended the product presentation activity of Microsoft, WSI and Bizbox that they can browse the PS-PhilGEPS website (www.procurementservice.gov.ph) for updates.

 

 

HP Philippines also conducted a product presentation activity on December 15 at the Sulo Riviera Hotel – Matalino Road, Diliman, Quezon City. The presentation showcased the HP Philippines’ products latest offerings including ink and toner. In addition, HP Philippines also discussed the environmental and health impact of using non-original HP ink and toner and did a hands-on workshop regarding the Science of Printing.

Ms. Leah Valdez, Chief of Marketing Division, discussed the updates on the PS-PhilGEPS while also gathering feedbacks from the participants.

 

Throughout all the product presentations conducted by different Merchants, the PS-PhilGEPS was given the opportunity to update the participants on the improvements and efficiencies that the agency have put in place to better serve its clients such as the Retail Store and the new ordering system and a sneak peek into the modernized PhilGEPS.

Overall, the PS-PhilGEPS, through its Marketing Division, conducted a total of 22 product presentation activities for the year 2015. The agency will continue to partner with different Merchants to conduct more client engagement activities to help merchants reach their target demographics and connect face to face with current and prospective clients. On the part of the PS-PhilGEPS, the activities helped us generate feedback and allowed us to proactively build off of from the feedback gathered from client agencies.
