The Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) turned over donated COVID-19 testing machines to the local government of Manila and Davao City in a bid to boost their testing capacity against the viral disease.
Present in the turnover ceremonies held in their respective cities were Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. DBM Secretary Wendel Avisado and PS OIC-Executive Director Undersecretary Lloyd Christopher Lao also graced the events.
The donated equipment are capable of processing and reading vast amounts of specimens and results.
