The Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) officially marked a new chapter in its regional operations with a groundbreaking ceremony on June 30, 2025 for the construction of a new building that will house the PS Tuguegarao Regional Depot.

Located in Tuguegarao City, this soon-to-rise facility reflects PS-DBM’s continued commitment to enhancing public service delivery through a strengthened regional presence. The PS Tuguegarao Depot has long played a vital role in meeting the procurement and supply needs of client agencies in the Cagayan Valley Region. With the construction of its new office, PS-DBM aims to further improve accessibility, efficiency, and support for its stakeholders.

Representing the PS-DBM Main Office were Deputy Executive Director of the Office of the Operations, Logistics, Supply and Chain Group (OLSCG) Philip Josef T Vera Cruz and Acting Director Judith Riza Bleza of the PS-DBM Regional Operations Office. Their presence underscored the agency’s strong support for the ongoing development of its regional network.

Before the ceremony, a brief tour of the existing regional depot was conducted by the visiting officials, offering them an opportunity to engage with local personnel and assess current operations in preparation for the transition to the new facility.

This milestone highlights PS-DBM’s sustained efforts to modernize its infrastructure nationwide and ensure that its regional depots remain responsive to the evolving needs of government agencies. | July 17, 2025/PM
