#PSnaps: As part of its continuing commitment to upholding disaster preparedness and risk reduction, the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) conducted its second quarter earthquake drill on June 29, 2026, at the PS-DBM Main Office in Paco, Manila.

Employees of PS-DBM, along with transacting agencies, took part in the simulated earthquake scenario, observing the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” exercise before proceeding with the prescribed evacuation plan, under the guidance of the PS-DBM’s designated marshals.

Through this activity, organized by the Crisis Management Committee of the General Services Division, the agency continues to emphasize the importance of regularly conducting earthquake drills, practicing emergency response protocols, and testing emergency systems to ensure the agency’s preparedness during disaster situations. The exercise also served as a reminder for employees to remain vigilant and to observe these safety measures in times of emergency.

Through emergency preparedness activities such as this, PS-DBM remains committed to strengthening the disaster response capability of its workforce, while fostering a culture of safety across the agency. June 30, 2026 | KB
