Recognized for its commitment to streamlining official and large-scale public sector travel nationwide, the Procurement Service–Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) received special recognition from Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) as one of the top sales producers in 2025. The recognition was formally presented during the PS-DBM and CEB’s courtesy visit with DBM Acting Secretary Kim Robert de Leon on September 18, 2026, at the DBM Main Office.
As part of the 13th CEBBiz Awards, Cebu Pacific recognizes key government partners for their continued support and contribution to the airline’s growth. PS-DBM shares a long-standing collaboration with CEB as one of the agency’s partner airlines in the eMarketplace, the government’s official e-commerce platform for the procurement of common-use supplies and equipment (CSE), through the Government Fares Agreement (GFA) program.
During the visit, PS-DBM and CEB shared key updates and partnership highlights with DBM Secretary de Leon, emphasizing their continued collaboration in facilitating efficient and streamlined air travel for the government.
The availability of airline tickets in the eMarketplace helps government agencies secure the most advantageous rates and additional travel privileges. These include discounts on domestic and international flights, waived processing and first rebooking fees, and a “pay later” option to reserve seats, among other benefits for government officials and personnel.
Led by Executive Director (ED) Genmaries “Gen” Entredicho-Caong, PS-DBM was represented by Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain Group Deputy ED Philip Josef Vera Cruz, Operations Office Director Samantha Grace Moscoso, Procurement Office Acting Director April Flor Borlagdatan-Vejano, Marketing and Sales Division (MSD) Chief Omar Bernal, and other PS-DBM personnel.
Meanwhile, CEB’s delegation included Atty. Maria Cecilia Natividad, Vice President for Corporate Affairs; Mr. Roque Aldrich Alvera, Manager for Corporate Affairs; Ms. Arlene Tena, Director for Passenger Sales and Distribution; Ms. Azenith Fabian, Sales Manager for Business Development; and Ms. Joanna Lee Cruz, Sales Supervisor for Business Development.
The CEBBiz recognition underscores the significance of sustained public-private sector collaboration in advancing efficient travel services for government agencies. The partnership between PS-DBM and CEB likewise supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s and the DBM’s economic agenda by demonstrating effective engagement with the private sector to optimize public service delivery.
