The Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) joins the nation in its celebration of the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration, continuing the 2023-2028 campaign “WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,” supporting the Philippine Development Plan’s goals of economic recovery, equal opportunities, and inclusive growth. The celebration calls on Women and Everyone (WE) to actively advance gender equality and women’s empowerment through a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach.
Under the sub-theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas!” the celebration draws inspiration from the leadership and strength from pre-colonial Filipina leaders, emphasizing leadership grounded in wisdom, compassion, and shared responsibility to build strong and empowered communities.
Today in PS-DBM, we have our very own “babaylan” in the leadership of our Executive Director Genmaries Entredicho-Caong—recently named among an elite consortium of “Inspiring Women” from around the world—who inspires every woman and man in our community to lead and excel with honor, integrity, and compassion. She advocates for inclusive progress, ensuring that no woman is left behind in the journey toward equal opportunities and empowerment. She is joined at the helm by equally capable, decisive, and supportive women leaders: Deputy Executive Director Marlita Dagsa and Directors Samantha Grace Moscoso, Maria Teresita Semana, and April Flor Borlagdatan-Vejano.
