In support of the government's thrust to accelerate digital transformation in public service, officials of the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) and representatives from the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector held a consultative meeting on May 30, 2023 and discussed ways and plans to improve the centralized procurement of laptop computers.
This initiative forms part of the agency's continuous undertaking of studies and engagements involving stakeholders in order to efficiently and economically procure quality government requirements from reputable sources.
Recognizing the role of ICT equipment in nation-building, PS-DBM offers laptops to its client-agencies as common-use supplies and equipment (CSE).
