In celebration of Valentine’s Day in the office, the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) highlights its employees as the heart of the agency as expression of its utmost appreciation for their passion and love for public service.
PS-DBM employees received chocolate bars with attached note that reads: “Your love for public service is what realizes the agency’s vision, mission, and mandate.”
The distribution of this simple token of appreciation to both men and women employees is a testament to PS-DBM’s gender-inclusive workforce. This forms part of the agency’s continuous effort to provide a safe and gender-sensitive work environment that empowers all genders.
The PS-DBM Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) ensures that these initiatives go beyond the celebration of the Valentine’s Day, with the conduct of other related programs and activities throughout the year.
