Ms. Gemma Villanueva from Sales Division of PS-PhilGEPS discusses the procurement process for PS-PhilGEPS Microsoft Volume Licensing, March 8, 2016 in Luxent Hotel Quezon City.

In relation with the Ordering Agreement between Procurement Service – Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PS-PhilGEPS) and Microsoft Philippines, together with their fulfillers First DataCorp (FDC) and Wordtext Systems, Inc. (WSI), a series of roadshows through client engagement activities were conducted on the first quarter of 2016.

The roadshows were exclusively held for agencies that are recipients of funding under the MITHI (Medium-Term Information and Communications Technology Harmonization Initiative) program.

Microsoft’s latest products were presented including demos, and discussions with subject matter experts on the CSP, Office 365, Azure and Office. The procurement process for PS-PhilGEPS Microsoft Volume Licensing was also discussed.

The participants were also informed on the discount that the PS-PhilGEPS and Microsoft offer until May 31, 2016 on licenses under the MITHI program which include Office Standard Licences and Office 365 Pro Plus. 

Some updates of the PS-PhilGEPS were also discussed such as the availability of the Handbook of RA 9184 on the PS-PhilGEPS. As well attendees from client agencies fielded their questions and concerns on the Procurement Service and the PhilGEPS.
