The Procurement Service – PhilGEPS (PS-PhilGEPS) joins the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) in the conduct of the Dagyaw2019 Roadshows. The Dagyaw 2019 is a series of regional town hall meetings that will be conducted nationwide, from July up to September. It aims to bring the government closer to the people by providing a platform to raise the issues and concerns of the people, to communicate the good governance reforms of the current administration, to access government services, and to gather stakeholder inputs for the PH-OGP National Action Plan 2019-2021 among others.

The PS-PhilGEPS manages a booth in the Dagyaw wherein new and upcoming products and services are being promoted such as the Government Fares Agreement, MITHI Laptops, and Procurement of Motor Vehicles. Inquiries about PhilGEPS are also being entertained at the booth. Client agencies may visit the upcoming schedule of the Dagyaw to learn more about the products being offered by the PS-PhilGEPS. Thus far, PS has joined the Dagyaw activities in Pampanga, Cebu, Davao, Metro Manila, and Tuguegarao.

Majority of the participants attending the townhall sessions are from the government particularly, local chief executives and punong barangays, national government agencies, non-government organizations, academe, media, business sector, and regular citizens. Each Dagyaw event has an estimated number of around 800 participants.

In support of the advocacies of the current administration, the PS-PhilGEPS continues to provide smart procurement solutions to the whole of government.
