The Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) distributes Gender and Development (GAD) Care Kit and Women's Kit to provide support to its employees amid the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Care and Women’s kits contain essential items in aid of the PS-DBM employees under skeleton workforce and work from home scheme

In a message, the GAD Focal Point System (GADFPS) says that it acknowledges the changes in working conditions as the virus continues to spread. It adds that the employees’ commitment to work is what public service is about.

“You are invaluable assets of the agency… We want to let you know that we know you, we see you, and we appreciate everything that you do,” GADFPS said.

This activity also celebrates the Women’s Month—the initial commemoration of which was hampered due to the imposed enhanced community quarantine in March.

The PS-DBM ensures the continuous implementation of programs and services that address gender needs of women, recognize their roles, and support them to achieve social equity.
