The Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), led by Executive Director Atty. Dennis Santiago, met with officials of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) headed by its President, Atty. Engelbert Caronan,Jr. to explore collaboration between the two agencies on attaining organizational process-efficiency.
The collaboration, as discussed, would also entail DAP's review of PS-DBM's manuals and guidelines; provision of capacity development training to the PS-DBM officials and employees; and their possible attendance to the Public Management Development Program Middle Managers Class (MMC).
Among the goals of the partnership is acquisition of the ISO Certification for the whole of PS-DBM, aided by risk assessment program.
PS-DBM welcomes this collaboration as an opportunity to reinforce the agency's transformational reforms and policies by capacitating and breeding a more competitive workforce.
