The Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) takes its services closer to its stakeholders as it participates in the Philippine Government Expo 2023, a one-stop government information exhibit organized by the Kabisig People’s Movement.
The Expo is making a comeback after it was halted in previous years due to COVID-19 pandemic. The event is taking place at SM Megamall, which commenced on June 19 and will run until June 21, 2023.
Manned by the personnel of the Marketing and Sales Division along with the PhilGEPS Customer Service Team, the PS-DBM booth welcomes inquiries about the centralized procurement of Common-use Supplies and Equipment (CSE) concerning both client-agencies and suppliers. Information about the Government Fares Agreement, as well as the purchasing of software licenses and subscriptions from PS-DBM, are also discussed.
KABISIG, by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 650, s. 1990, was created to facilitate, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of projects and programs of the government for the information of the public. Through the Expo, linkages between the private and public sectors are established to ensure the efficient delivery of their services to the people.
After its Luzon leg, KABISIG’s Expo will also be held in Visayas and Mindanao in October and August this year, respectively.
