The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) is a recipient of the Merit Award at the 12th Cebu Pacific CEBBIZ Awards hosted by the Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) on June 16, 2025 in Manila.
The PS-DBM has been granted special recognition for its 2024 sales performance, along with other companies and government agencies in the Philippines. In attendance to represent PS- DBM and receive the award were Operations Office Acting Director Samantha Grace E. Moscoso and Marketing and Sales Division Chief Omar O. Bernal.
The recognition is a manifestation of PS-DBM’s commitment to efficient delivery of public services by providing mobility for its client-agencies. Through its Government Fares Agreement (GFA) Program, the PS-DBM shares a well-established partnership with the country’s major airlines including CEB—enabling the public sector to avail airfare for official trips of government officials, employees, and personnel. The GFA Program also includes benefits and privileges such as discounts, freebies, and waived rebooking/rerouting fees.
To further the streamlining of purchasing airline tickets, PS-DBM looks into the integration of the airlines’ online booking portals in the eMarketplace—a feature of the modernized Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (mPhilGEPS) that serves as the official e- commerce platform of the government for common-use supplies and equipment (CSE). | June 21, 2025/PM
