Eveline Venanzoni was Trained as a biologist, Eveline Venanzoni worked as a private consultant in the field of waste prevention and ecological public procurement. Since 1996 Eveline Venanzoni is working for the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment and since then she is the head of the Ecological Public Procurement Service. The main tasks are: to train procurement officers in taking into account sustainability criteria in the procurement process; to make available ecological product criteria; to work on a code of conduct for procurement entities; to work on the revi-sion of the procurement law and to set up a monitoring system for monitoring the uptake of SPP in the Federal Administration. EV is permanent guest of the Federal procurement con-ference.She is also member of the working group that accompanies the implementation of the environmental management system in the whole federal administration (www.rumba.admin.ch).
Eveline Venanzoni represented Switzerland in the OECD steering group on GPP (2002-2006) and contributed to the elaboration of the first OECD recommendation on GPP [C(2002)3] and to the report on the implementation of the recommenda-tion(ENV/EPOC/WPNEP(2006)6/FINAL).Todayshe represents Switzerland in the EU-GPP Advisory group and is also a member of the G11 group (best performing EU and EFTA coun-tries regarding the implementation of GPP/SPP).From 2005 to 2011 she chaired the Marra-kech Task Force on SPP and is no member of the multistakeholder advisory committee of the 10YFP programme on SPP.
