The Procurement Service - Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PS-PhilGEPS) continuously partners with different Merchants in conducting various client engagement activities through product presentations.

In line with the Ordering Agreement between PS-PhilGEPS and Microsoft, together with its resellers namely First Datacorp (FDC) and Wordtext Systems, Inc. (WSI), a series of roadshows were conducted in different regions of the Philippines for the third quarter of 2015.

The product presentation activities hosted by WSI, entitled “PS Sells Microsoft Licenses via Consignment Agreement”, dealt with discussions on the latest products of Microsoft involving interactive presentations, demos and lectures with subject matter experts on the CSP, Office 365, Azure and Office. Likewise, WSI discussed the PS-PhilGEPS Microsoft Volume Licensing Procurement Process.3

 

Participants from different government agencies in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) attended the Microsoft Technology Immersion of WSI in Baguio City.

 

 

Roadshows were conducted in the cities of Tagaytay, Cebu, Baguio, Zamboanga and Bacolod which were attended by an average of 60 participants from different State Universities (SUCs), Government Owned and/or Controlled Corporations (GOCC) and Local Government Units such as City, Municipal and Provincial Governments.

On the other hand, the roadshows of FDC with the title “Streamlining Procurement of Microsoft Products and Services” was initially conducted in Subic Bay that was attended by almost 100 participants from different government offices such as National Government Agencies (NGAa), SUCs, GOCCs and LGUs. The product presentation activity focused on the discussion of Windows 10, Office 365, Azure, Premier Support and Enterprise Strategy Program as well as the Ordering Agreement between PS-PhilGEPS and FDC.

Dell Philippines also had a product presentation activity in Batangas City which showcased its products involving storages and servers. Dell also hosted a Product Technology Update on its designed computers and notebooks for the public sector.

 

Participants from different government agencies in Regions IVA and IVB attended the product presentation activity of Dell Philippines in Batangas.

 

PS-PhilGEPS was also given the opportunity to update the participants on the improvements and efficiencies that we have put in place to better serve our clients such as the Retail Store and the new ordering system and a sneak peek into the modernized PhilGEPS.
