After the successful PS-PhilGEPS Workshop with Merchants in October 2015, the PS-PhilGEPS is organizing the 2nd Annual Workshop with Merchants with the theme, “Promoting Transparency, Value for Money and Competition in PS-PhilGEPS Procurement”. This workshop is focused primarily on informing and updating the participants of the business opportunities in the PS-PhilGEPS and the policies and procedures in procurement. Likewise, this initiative aims to get more merchants to join in tenders for the aggregated procurement of commonly used supplies and equipment (CSEs) for the government as well as non-CSEs in 2017, estimated to be in the amount of more than Php 12 Billion.
The event will be held on August 26, 2016, Friday at the The Bayleaf Intramuros in Manila from 7:30 a.m. (registration time) to 5:00 p.m. Participants need to pre-register and pay the workshop fee of Php 600.00 per participant to cover for materials, meals and refreshments. Kindly note that a maximum of only two participants per company is permitted to attend to allow for participation of as many companies as possible in the workshop.
