The Procurement Service – Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PS-PhilGEPS) offers Desktop and Laptop Computers for the Medium-term Information & Communications Technology Harmonization Initiative (MITHI) which is an e-government effort of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and Department of Science and Technology-Information and Communications Technology Office (DOST-ICTO) that aims to harmonize and ensure inter-operability among ICT-related resources, programs and projects across the whole of government. PS-PhilGEPS aggregated the ICT hardware requirements of government and procured these through competitive public bidding. While these items are pre-installed with Windows 10 (64-bit) Operating System, Microsoft (MS) Productivity Tools such as MS Office may also be purchased as Commonly-use Supplies and Equipment (CSE) at PS-PhilGEPS. Government agencies based in Metro Manila can procure the units with the following conditions:
For procurement requests of 10 units and up, Desktop and/or Laptop Computers will be delivered by the Supplier/s and is free of charge.
For procurement requests of less than 10 units, agencies can avail through walk-in in PS-PhilGEPS Retail Store located at PS Compound, R.R. Road, Cristobal St., Paco, Manila.
The ordered units will be available within 30 working days upon receipt of the funded Agency Procurement Request (APR).
To ensure efficient and prompt processing of procurement requests, we are reminding procuring entities to prepare the following requirements which can be downloaded at related documents below:
1. Duly accomplished Agency Procurement Request (APR) Form Exclusive for MITHI Desktops and Laptops; and
2. Appropriate payment (Cash/Check/Unutilized Deposit as verified by the Accounting Division of PS-PhilGEPS). For service warranty, agencies may coordinate with the respective authorized service centers of ACER for the desktop units and ASUS for laptops.
