The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) received an award during the 11th CebBiz Awards hosted by the Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) on May 10, 2024 in Manila.

The award recognizes PS-DBM as a top sales producer of airfare, through its Government Fares Agreement (GFA) program. With PS-DBM’s GFA program, CEB’s services are streamlined to cater to the government sector.

In attendance to receive the award on behalf of PS-DBM were Dr. Teresita M. Semana, Director for the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS); Engr. Jaime M. Navarrete, Jr., Director for the Regional Operations Group; and Mr. James M. Dupla, Director for Administrative and Finance Group.

PS-DBM shares a long-standing collaboration with CEB as one of the agency’s partner airlines, making air travel tickets available for the official trips of government officials, employees, and personnel. Booking through the GFA also comes with benefits and privileges such as discounts, freebies, and waived rebooking/rerouting fees.

PS-DBM understands that the accessibility of airline tickets as a mobility tool in the exigency of service shall allow a smoother movement of people, goods, and services — resulting in an efficient delivery of public service.
