The PS-DBM turns over various equipment and supplies to the Inter-agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases in support of the government’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. | 11 May 2020 at the PS Main Office in Paco, Manila.

The Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) donated paper, paper clips, plastic envelopes, and scissors to the Inter-agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Details

The Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) informs all client-agencies that effective immediately, and until further notice, only COVID-19 response items will be made available for purchase through the Virtual Store.

This temporary measure is in consideration to PS-DBM's efforts to efficiently supply essential items amid the pandemic.

All other Common-use supplies and Equipment (CSEs) will still be processed through manual submission of the Agency Procurement Request (APR).

Pursuant to the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID), President Rodrigo Duterte has extended the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in  Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and "all other high risk" provinces in Luzon until 15 May 2020 11:59 PM to curb the spread of the infectious coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In view of the issued proclamation, PhilGEPS shall continue to adopt a work from home arrangement until it is lifted.

The Chinese government, through a ‘goodwill flight,’ delivers to the Philippines the second batch of personal protective equipment (PPE) sets procured by PS-DBM from China.

The Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) continues to fulfil its mission to efficiently and economically procure personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies in aid of the country’s healthcare workers and other frontline personnel.

In ordering Common Supplies and Equipment (CSE) which now includes Covid-19 Response Items, client agencies of the Procurement Service-Main Office are highly encouraged to maximize the use of the Virtual Store (VS) in observance of social distancing during the prevailing Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

Due to the declaration of an ECQ in Luzon, the direct delivery by PS option in the VS is currently suspended. VS orders must be claimed or picked-up by the agency from PS Main Office in Paco, Manila within seven (7) working days upon issuance of the Order Number.  Otherwise, the order will be deemed cancelled and the funds deducted from your e-wallet account will be returned.
