The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management, represented by Executive Director (ED) Dennis S. Santiago, joined the Philippine Delegation to the 8 th Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit from September 4 to 8, 2023 in Tallin, Estonia. Led by DBM Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman — who also chairs the Philippine OGP (PH-OGP) — they formed part of the more than 2,000 high-level government representatives, civil society leaders, and policy makers from more than 130 countries worldwide who bannered the theme, “Open Governance for a Resilient Future.”
The Procurement Service – Department of Budget of Management (PS-DBM) held a consultative meeting with the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) on September 27, 2023 to discuss the draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the implementation of the proposed Government of the Philippines Automobile Framework Program (GoP-AFP).

As part of the capacity building efforts of the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) for its human resource (HR), select members of its workforce including Functional Group Directors, Division Chiefs and their Deputies took part in the Competency Modeling and Profiling Course facilitated by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) from August 22 to 24, 2023. This is the first leg of CSC’s series of training sessions with PS-DBM aimed at building a Competency-Based HR System (CBHRS) for the agency.
