The Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) is set to conduct its year-end assessment with scheduled activities on December 17 and 20, 2024. In relation, work in PS-DBM including the PhilGEPS office is only until 12:00 p.m. on the said dates. As to the Regional Depots, whose personnel will join the same activities, work is suspended from December 17 to 20.
With great pride and utmost humility, the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) officially introduces the Philippine Government’s first and official electronic commerce platform, the eMarketplace, following the successful ceremonial launching event at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on December 13, 2024.
As part of the agency’s 18-day campaign to end violence against women (VAW), the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) engaged its workforce in a self-defense workshop on December 11 and 12, 2024, equipping employees with knowledge and techniques on defending oneself in the face of imminent danger or violence.

Ahead of the launching of its Electronic Marketplace (eMarketplace)—which shall serve as the Philippine Government’s official e-commerce platform—the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) initiated a peer-learning activity with Indonesia’s National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) on December 2-3, 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia to gain insights from the latter’s electronic procurement system.

The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), in time for the celebration of its 46th anniversary on October 18, 2024, welcomed the appointment of its newest set of leaders following the ceremonial oath-taking led by no less than DBM Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman.

Forming part of its series of relief operations, the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) donated relief goods to the Tarabangan-Bicol Disaster Volunteer Network—through the WeSolve Foundation (WSF), a partner civil society organization (CSO)—which bridged the agency and the communities in the Bicol region. Region V took the brunt of the effects of recent typhoons in the country.
