This is to inform all stakeholders of the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) about the upcoming decommissioning of the PhilGEPS 1.5 and the corresponding transition schedule to the Modernized PhilGEPS (mPhilGEPS).
With the transitory period for the full implementation of the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) now in place, the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) participated in the NGPA Caravan spearheaded by the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) in August and September 2025 at the Palacio Del Gobernador Convention Center in Intramuros, Manila.

To prevent the reversion of appropriations for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) and Capital Outlay (CO) from the Fiscal Year 2024 General Appropriations Act (Republic Act No. 11975) to the National Treasury, client-agencies may utilize the funds to purchase common-use supplies and equipment (CSE) from the Procurement Service-DBM (PS- DBM) through its Virtual Store.

Responding to the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) expression of intent to fully utilizing the modernized Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), the Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) capacitated the procurement office of DAR with features of the platform in a training activity held on September 5, 2025 at Brentwood Suites, Quezon City.

The Procurement Service – Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) took up on the invitation from the Regional League of Local Budget Officers-10, Inc. (RLLBO-10) to participate in its Northern Mindanao Client Learning Engagement on the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) and other procurement matters at the Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan De Oro from September 2 to 4, 2025.
