Advancing the professional development of its workforce, the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) held an awarding ceremony for its first batch of personnel who completed the Introductory Certificate in Public Procurement-Level 2 of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS)—a global professional body for procurement and supply chain management certification—at its Main Office in Paco, Manila, on September 8, 2026.

In line with the ongoing transition to the modernized Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) conducted a training on the eBidding Facility for the City General Services Office (CGSO), City of Manila, on August 17 and 24, 2026, at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center Auditorium.

Strengthening the agency’s commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of all its personnel in responding to medical emergencies, the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM), through the General Services Division’s Crisis Management Committee-Prevention and Preparedness Team with the assistance of the Human Resource Development Division, conducted Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid training at its Main Office in Paco, Manila, from August 25 to 27, 2026.

To empower government agencies in utilizing the modernized procurement process under the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA), the Procurement Service-Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) conducted an educational and warehouse facility tour for the Armed Forces of the Philippines Procurement Service (AFPPS) on August 26, 2026, at the PS-DBM Main Office in Paco, Manila.
