The Procurement Service–Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) informs all client-agencies that additional electric motor vehicle brands are now onboarded in the modernized Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) eMarketplace under the Government of the Philippines–Automobile Framework Program.
Challenging the boundaries of public procurement to be more open to small-scale manufacturers, cooperatives, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the Procurement Service–Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) further strengthened its partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), exploring wider opportunities for the participation of local cooperatives in manufacturing common-use supplies and equipment.

The Procurement Service–Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) officially onboarded the vehicles of Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (Foton) in the eMarketplace effective June 2026, following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on May 25, 2026, at the DBM Boncodin Hall. The inclusion of Foton vehicles provides client-agencies with a diverse lineup of motor vehicles offered through the modernized Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System’s (PhilGEPS) eMarketplace, at the most advantageous price for the government.
The Procurement Service–Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) officially turned over ten (10) Toyota Innova Zenix Hybrid units to the City Government of Pasig during its flag-raising ceremony, led by Mayor Victor Ma. Regis “Vico” Sotto, on July 20, 2026, at the Pasig City Hall grounds.

Formally launching the civil society component of the European Union-Philippines (EU-PH) Partnership in Reinforcing Capacity, Transparency, and Efficiency in Public Procurement, the Procurement Service of the Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) joined the European Union (EU) Delegation to the Philippines, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the Philippines, Government Procurement Policy Board-Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), and the Commission on Audit (COA) in bringing together civil society organizations (CSO) and stakeholders on the first day of the “Inception Workshop with CSO Partners: Strategic Alignment among CSOs, Government, and UNDP” on July 14, 2026, at the Discovery Suites Manila, Pasig City.
