Ahead of the launching of its Electronic Marketplace (eMarketplace)—which shall serve as the Philippine Government’s official e-commerce platform—the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) initiated a peer-learning activity with Indonesia’s National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP) on December 2-3, 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia to gain insights from the latter’s electronic procurement system.

Forming part of its series of relief operations, the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) donated relief goods to the Tarabangan-Bicol Disaster Volunteer Network—through the WeSolve Foundation (WSF), a partner civil society organization (CSO)—which bridged the agency and the communities in the Bicol region. Region V took the brunt of the effects of recent typhoons in the country.

By request from the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) hosted a training session for PCO on delivery, inspection, storage, warehouse management, and inventory-taking which took place on November 28, 2024, at the PS-DBM Main Office in Paco, Manila.

The Procurement Service - Department of Budget and Management (PS-DBM) Regional Depot - Cebu (PS Cebu) hosted a virtual training session for regional agencies on November 21-22, 2024—equipping almost 200 participants with knowledge of the procurement process in compliance with PS-DBM policies and operations.
